Jannes Buys: Through the Wonderful South Africa Foundation, we provide skills training and job opportunities, with many staff members joining us from the program. Sustainability-wise, weāre transitioning to off-grid energy solutions and fostering strong relationships with local suppliers to support our community.

Rael Zieve: Any funny moments in your time at the lodge?
Willa Benade: I once directed a guest to our designated smoking area, joking that the walk would balance their smoking habit. It wasnāt well-received, but we laughed it off later!
Jannes Buys: A guest once complained about the noise of rain while leaving his windows wide open. Itās always interesting interacting with guests.
